Executive & Leadership Coaching

The challenge

Being in a leadership position means that you have unique challenges, objectives, and opportunities. You’re already successful, and your high-profile standing can be both a blessing and a burden. Yes, you’ve got the status, the prestige, and the salary. But you’ve also got pressure from employees, investors, and stakeholders. To paraphrase American Express: Membership has its privileges—but it also has its responsibilities. The challenges of your world are unique, but then so are the opportunities. When you achieve your goals, you help dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of other people achieve theirs. It’s a world that most people—and most coaches—just don’t understand.

However, I’ve been there. As a multiple Emmy Award winning journalist and former host of ABC’s Good Morning America, I’ve seen the ups and downs of life at the highest levels of leadership. I’ve flown on the Concorde and corporate jets, and interviewed everyone from Mick Jagger and Lucille Ball to Bill Clinton and Henry Kissinger. I’ve lived in your world and know that the “glamor” of the C-level can be a double-edged sword. I understand the mindset that got you to the top, and the concerns you face once you’re there.

The program

My Executive and Leadership Coaching is designed to further develop and enhance your ability to achieve your objectives—and the objectives of your company or organization—with exponentially greater velocity and clarity. I think this is a good place to point out that coaching is not consulting. I am not an expert in your given field—unless you also happen to be a broadcast journalist or a trainer of coaches—so I will not tell you what to do or give you advice. My coaching is an interactive process where I ask questions, listen, and provide insight into your blind spots; you and I partner to create a plan of action that leaves you empowered, motivated, and inspired. This way you can produce unprecedented results in areas like:

  • Personal performance

  • The success of your teams

  • Company profitability

  • Achievement of your organizational goals

The results

I’m going to go out on a limb here and propose something radical that you’ve likely not heard many—if any—executive or leadership coaches suggest to you before: Consider that if the actions you take—even in business—do not come from love, they come from fear. Think about it. Usually, any actions you take from fear are designed to avoid pain and gain safety. Actions taken from love give you access to the unlimited power and possibility of human potential. Love is what exists naturally within and between people—even people with whom you do business, either as associates or customers. When you remove the barriers to the experience of love, you profoundly alter the quality of your life and your business.

What would be possible for you and your business if you could be clear—really clear—on where you are headed and how you are going to get there? And, perhaps more importantly, who you are becoming in the process?

Bottom line…

I’m not interested in incremental results. I’m not interested in baby steps. I don’t deal in those.

I deal in breakthroughs.

Stop waiting for “someday” to achieve the results you know you want, and you know you deserve. “Someday” is now.

Pick up the phone. Give me a call. Now.
